Escolhi meio que pelo luto por terem cancelado o show dos caras, que eu tinha ido assistir no festival Monsters of Rock. Ela é de um álbum que eu AMO, o "March or Die", uma fase fantástica. Essa música em especial é... bem... especial. É um dueto do mestre Lemmy Kilmister com Ozzy Osbourne, contando ainda com um solo de Slash que arrebenta após a sequência de violão e piano, uma mistura nem tão comum na carreira dos maloqueiros. Como é uma música só vou deixar a letra inteira, não só um trecho.

Eu não tive tempo de parar e ouvir com atenção todo o álbum novo do Accept ano passado, então foi indo de pouco em pouco. Eles tem algumas letras bem notáveis, e conforme eu ouvia "Dying Breed", pude notar como algumas partes não eram coincidência. Veja o que você acha:

Música Que Eu Gostaria Que Você Conhecesse #10

Estou sem o que fazer... fui andar na praia e uma abelha ferroou o meu dedo do pé. Hoje é dia de copa (feriado) então a família toda está unida dentro de casa. Com o "silêncio" que eles fazem eu não consigo ler gibi então resolvi escrever post. Essa é a segunda música do Rammstein que coloco assim, a última foi "Amerika". "Spring" traduzido do alemão significa "Pule". A música se trata de um tema bem tabu, o suicídio.

Eu adoro essa música pois tenho bastante fascínio pelo tema do suicídio. E é algo que você pouco encontra. Na verdade a mídia brasileira tem medo e muitas vezes não é permitida a expor dados sobre o assunto, aquele cúmulo de sempre. Como se fingir que um algo não existe fosse apagá-lo. A maior parte das tentativas de suicídio não são noticiadas. O sociólogo Émile Durkheim estudou e escreveu sobre o tema, o que me deixou meio preocupado porque ele disse que quem pensa muito em suicídio dificilmente não o comete. Mas já vi que não é o meu caso. Bem, é claro que estudos ainda existem, mas com o assunto sempre sendo tratado com muita cautela. Há uma crença que perguntar se alguém quer se matar pode levá-la a faze-lo. Então, entre toda essa polêmica, uma das bandas mais polêmicas que existe tem uma excelente música sobre o assunto: "Spring!". Além de falar de um homem que vai se matar mostra a visão pessimista que ele tem de onde vai se jogar, jurando que pode ouvir as pessoas pedindo para ele pular, que é o refrão da música. Ótima ambientação do tormento. Acho bem pesado e extremamente bem feito. O vídeo abaixo creio que não é clipe oficial (não existe) mas é um vídeo muito bom que fizeram para ilustrar a letra.

Molequinho cantando Alice Cooper com o pai

Garoto de 8 anos cantando a música "Last Man On Earth" do último álbum de Alice, "Welcome 2 My Nightmare". Adorei a voz que ele faz, haha.

Aproveitando que hoje é Valentine's Day nos EUA, vamos aproveitar para colocar a música que eu já postei aqui algumas vezes em 2013, Valentine's Day. A impressão que eu tenho dessa música é que Bowie ironiza o Valentine's Day, como se ele fosse algo que se acha mais do que realmente é. "Ele tem algo a dizer? É dia de Valentine".

O que apoia ainda mais isso é a performance meio seca e triste que ele faz no clipe, ficando meio insana no final até o momento que ele demonstra um grande desapontamento. Confira a música e a letra.

Música Que Eu Gostaria Que Você Conhecesse #8

Essa é mais uma que coloco pela letra. Ela pode ser do Alice Cooper, mas nãos e trata de rock pesado ou algo sinistro e sombrio, é uma música até meio pop. Salvation fala sobre a bizarra dúvida que surge nas pessoas (ao menos em mim e no Alice) quanto a vida. O significado da vida, que talvez não exista, ou talvez seja quase inalcançável. Por mais polêmico que seja pra um roqueiro fazer isso, Alice coloca até um fundo cristão na música, no final é tudo sobre o ponto que o homem se pergunta "? E o que eu faço?". É mais uma na grande lista de ótimas músicas desconhecidas de Alice.

Música Que Eu Gostaria Que Você Conhecesse #7

Mais uma ruiva no mundo cuja existência veio até mim, hehehehe

Essa é a música que mais vai contra a minha ideia desse tipo de post, que é tentar mostrar pra mais pessoas músicas desconhecidas que eu acho genais e recomendaria para quase todos que conheço. É a música que tocou durante o trailer inteiro de Metal Gear Solid 5, entããããão, eu suponho que todo mundo tenha acabado de ouvir! Mas eu gostei muito da música, eu realmente não conhecia nada dessa banda "Garbage" além do nome. Descobri que a vocalista é irmã do Marylin Mason (ick), e que a banda já tem cinco álbuns de estúdio. Então, pela primeira vez, farei um post desse tipo com uma música que quase todo mundo que está lendo já conhece, mas achei a letra muito boa e a colocarei também, isso te salva o esforço de ir procurar.

Metal Gear Solid 5, descobri a música por causa do trailer do jogo. A franquia Metal Gear tem uma das melhores trilhas sonoras dos videogames, parando pra pensar é impressionante, desde daquela musiquinha do primeiro. É claro, não é o caso dessa música, que foi criada pelo Garbage.

Música Que Eu Gostaria Que Você Conhecesse #6

Aimee! Uma das músicas mais bonitas de Ozzy Osbourne, mas bem desconhecida. Ela foi feita nos anos 90, para o álbum Ozzmosis, como homenagem a filha do Príncipe das Trevas: Aimee Osbourne. Essa menina não é popular como Jack e Kelly, pois ela não apareceu no reality show que Ozzy fez com sua família para a MTV. Ozzy compôs uma letra muito bela para a sua filha, dá para notar como ela é realmente aberta e se trata do pedido de desculpas de um pai que gostaria de ter feito mais pela filha. Além da letra linda, a sonoridade mistura o metal clássico com música clássica, mas de forma muito diferente que o power metal faz muitas vezes. A música parece... sei lá, Ozzy inspirado em Mozart, pra mim é uma das canções "melosas" mais bem-feitas da história do rock. 

Por que ela não é mais conhecida então?

Aimee se tratou de uma faixa especial do álbum Ozzmosis, ou seja, chegou só em alguns lugares, e não foi tocada ao vivo, então infelizmente, poucas pessoas conhecem. Caso você não conhecesse, pode conhecer agora:

Música Que Eu Gostaria Que Você Conhecesse #5

Dessa vez quis colocar uma música mais recente. Essa é do ano passado, feita pelo Kiss. A música Freak foi escrita pelo Paul Stanley. Ele disse que refletia sobre como mesmo com o tempo passando, e chegando a fama e o sucesso, uma coisa não mudou, ele disse que continua não se encaixando, ainda se sente um "Freak", o que significaria aberração, estranho, como você quiser. Gosto MUITO MESMO da forma que ele pôs isso nessa música, colocando a sua estranheza de forma orgulhosa, e natural, o que acho muito melhor do que aquela coisa de gente como a Lady Gaga e o Marylin Mason que ficam meio "OLHE COMO EU SOU LOUCA, MINHA ESTRANHEZA NÃO TE ASSUSTA? NÃO TE CHOCA?". Isso tudo acaba ficando forçado, pra não dizer meio poser, mas já Paul Stanley, esse é um sincero Freak de verdade. E é claro, o ritmo no início da música é muito similar com o da música Eighteen de Alice Cooper, mas essa não é a única vez que o Kiss se inspira nele nas faixas de guitarra.

Música Que Eu Gostaria Que Você Conhecesse #4

Vocês todos que leem o que eu escrevo devem estar cientes de como eu gosto de Alice Cooper, não é? Para mim além dos clássicos como School's Out, Poison e Billion Dollar Babies, Alice tem dezenas de músicas desconhecidas que poderiam enriquecer a cultura de muita gente. Uma das que eu mais gosto é Might As Well Be On Mars. É uma música romântica de 7 minutos, com uma sinfonia surpreendente. Quero dizer, que estilo é esse que lembra séries e filmes de antigamente que rola durante o refrão da música? Só Alice consegue fazer isso. Eu acho a música realmente muito boa e por isso fico impressionado com como ela pode ser assim desconhecida, assim sendo uma das músicas que eu gosto de apresentar para todas as pessoas.

Música Que Eu Gostaria Que Você Conhecesse #3

Eu conheci essa música a pouco tempo, e foi amor a primeira vista. Amerika foi feita pela banda alemã Rammstein. Ela mistura heavy metal com um estilo mais eletrônico, no final ficando muito legal. Não conheço muito a banda, pois como disse, ouvi pela primeira vez há pouco tempo, mas por enquanto Amerika é a minha preferida, acho que eu poderia ouvir esse refrão o dia inteiro. A voz do vocalista com o sotaque alemão fica perfeita, mais o cinismo da música em relação a América, o solinho de teclado e etc. E o clipe é excelente, mesmo sem entender o que eles falam você consegue pegar o significado da música.
